CSC 410 Database Systems

A study of the fundamental concepts underlying the design, implementation, and application of database systems. Topics include the historical development of database management systems, the common elements of modern database systems, entity relationships, the relational model of system implementation, data constraints, and the Structured Query Language. Programming activities are incorporated to expose students to typical database applications.
