HIS 110	Inventing the Modern World-I	3

HIS 500	Research Seminar	3

Six additional history courses numbered 300 or higher <em>(18 hours)</em>, chosen so as to represent at least three of the <em>four</em> categories of upper-level courses:

	Upper-level courses in American history (United States and Latin America)
	Upper-level courses in European and Middle Eastern history
	Upper-level courses in African and Asian history
	Upper-level courses in thematic studies in history
