ARS 450 Photography-IV

This is an advanced course in the art, history, and theory of photographic practices as well as digital photographic production processes. The objective of this class is the development of a cohesive and nuanced photographic portfolio that demonstrates technical, aesthetic, and conceptual rigor. Students will be required to work independently to complete researched-based projects that connect and contextualize photographic practices with greater artistic, intellectual, and societal concerns. In addition, students will share their research and photographic practice through critique, presentations, discussions, and written essays.
