POL 433 American Environmental Policy

This course examines how politics, science, economics, and values are integrated to create the institutions of environmental governance and management: statutes, regulations, and cases. We will examine a number of environmental issues--air and water pollution, climate change, endangered species, energy and other resource use, and the management of public lands- -from the perspectives of policy-making and policy analysis.
