FRE 346 Immigration and French National Identity

This course offers a broad look at the history of immigration in France during the second half of the twentieth century and its role in shaping contemporary multicultural France. Surveying novels, bandes dessinées, and films, we will explore questions about citizenship and what it means to be French.
