FRE 481 Climate Fiction and Francophone Ecocriticism

This course offers a survey of ancient and modern reflections on climate, environment, and ecological problems in French literature and film. The course will introduce students to key notions of French ecocritical theory such as l’écosophie, la nature-culture, and le contrat naturel.
