Welcome to the 2025–26 academic year at Centre College!

Whether you’re just beginning your Centre journey or returning to a familiar campus filled with friends and mentors, I’m delighted to welcome you to a community defined by curiosity, connection, and purpose.

Our general education curriculum, designed by Centre’s exceptional faculty, spans the humanities, social studies, and science and math. Our shared academic experience builds your intellectual agility and ethical grounding to navigate complexity, engage across differences, and take on challenges that matter.

You’ll also find countless ways to stretch beyond what you thought possible. With more than 70 majors and minors and a campus culture that supports both ambition and reflection, you’ll find your place, your passion, and your people. You’ll be supported every step of the way by faculty and staff who see your potential and are committed to helping you realize it.

Beyond the classroom, you will have the opportunity to study abroad or away, gaining global perspective and lifelong memories. You’ll also have access to internships, research, and hands-on learning that connect your academic interests to real-world experience. If you’re an athlete, you’ll join one of the most competitive and close-knit NCAA Division III programs in the country, where excellence on the field is matched by high achievement in the classroom. It’s no surprise that 98% of Centre graduates are employed or in graduate school within a year of earning their degree.
