ARS 220 Intermediate Drawing: Figure; Landscape

Students enrolling in this course should be proficient in basic perceptual drawing. This course continues the development of skill in drawing from direct observation. Drawing the human figure from life, along with extensive study of anatomy, will be the focus of study for most of the term. The remaining part of the term will be devoted to on-site landscape drawing, including the study of perspective, the structure of trees, and the depiction of light and shade in nature and architecture.
