ARS 231 Introduction to Soda Firing

This is a workshop course; students will create ceramic sculpture and wheel-thrown pottery which will be fired in the Soda Kiln. This course will cover the history of atmospheric firing and contemporary applications and the artists using these methods of firing ceramics.
