IST 361 Global Challenges and Social Justice

This discussion-based course examines the root causes of major global problems through the lens of grassroots resistance movements around the world. Students will explore issues such as forced

migration, race and gender hierarchies, and climate change by focusing on the critiques and strategies for change that social justice activists offer. Prerequisite: IST 110.
