Telephone

Each faculty office has a telephone with voice-mail and long-distance capabilities; the Security and Systems Specialist (ext. 5542) can provide instructions for voice-mail. It is very helpful if the phone mail message that an outside caller hears includes the faculty member's name. Users can also have a WEBEX client installed on their Centre—provided systems to allow them to make calls through a soft client. Users can also download a soft client to their mobile devices. The rules and procedures for calls made from the soft clients follow the same rules as calls made from the physical telephone.
