Post Office on Campus

The Campus Post Office window hours are: Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; open during lunch hour.

Stamps and envelopes are sold and packages may be mailed from the Campus Post Office. All mail services including United Parcel Services (UPS) with insured and certified mail services are also available.  We accept cash, check, or College department accounts.  We do not accept debit or credit cards.

All Federal Express (FEDEX) packages must be at the Centre Post Office no later than 9:00 am on the day of the desired shipment. All UPS packages must be at the Centre Post Office no later than 3:00 pm. Envelopes and labels for UPS, FEDEX and PRIORITY MAIL are available at the Centre Post Office.

The Post Office will not accept for distribution leaflets, pamphlets, or any other similar material promoting a product or service unless distributed by an officially recognized campus organization which has received permission from the Student Life Office (see Sales/Solicitation Policy in this section of the Handbook).

Student mailboxes are color-coded by class. Student names do not need to be used for mass mailings intended for everyone in a certain class (or classes).

The Centre Post Office is closed on certain holidays officially recognized by the College.

Addressing mail to students on campus should be done as follows: Student's Name, Centre College, 600 W Walnut Street, Danville Kentucky 40422.  Please DO NOT put a box number in the address as campus mail will become confused with the Danville P.O. box numbers.

Florists may make deliveries to the Centre Post Office, Monday - Friday during normal operating hours. Students are called to pick up flowers. This service is not available on weekends or holidays.
