BUS 405 Case Studies: Business & Society

This course employs the case-study method to engage students in decision making and civil discourse in the context of business and society. Students examine business-related challenges from the perspectives of consumers, employees, organizations, and community members. Readings and applications address issues that include conflict resolution, creativity, leadership, ethics, multiculturalism, profitability, and sustainability. Some cases involve dilemmas faced by local businesses and we invite entrepreneurs from the community to exchange ideas and insights.
