CSC 380 Operating Systems

An introduction to the role of an operating system in the management of processors, memory, files, and devices. Topics covered include scheduling, concurrency, memory management, file structures, deadlock, and security. Examples are taken from actual operating systems.

CSC 270 with a grade of C- or higher and CSC 280 with a grade of C- or higher, or permission of the instructor.
