ECO 335 Economic Growth

The differences in the level and growth of income across countries have profound implications on the standard of living of citizens across the world. This course looks at some of the fundamental factors that lead to these differences and determine the long run performance of economies. Emphasis is on the role of physical and human capital accumulation, technological progress, and institutions in generating the wide income disparities that we observe.
