ECO 436 A Practitioner’s Approach to Investing

This course will introduce students to successful investing in equity securities by primarily studying well-known investors like Warren Buffett. The course emphasizes two important aspects of successful investing which are: 1) how to value a business and 2) how to think about stock market fluctuations.
