EDU 254 Possibilities of Peace: Imagining the Future

This course considers the concept of “possibility” from the dual fields of peace and conflict studies and critical theory and how to apply these concepts to issues of injustice. This course will take multiple disciplinary perspectives including psychology, sociology, gender studies, history and others, explore potential linkages between issues of social and environmental justice, grapple with structural vs individual and perceptions of injustice, and consider the formations of critical studies to understand and formulate meanings and possibilities.
