A discussion-based course introducing students to a key topic or topics in German-language culture(s). Specific course topics vary from term to term. Topics may include "Re-Reading Fairy Tales," "When Women Speak–Luxemburg to Davis," “Migration and Citizenship,” “Sport and Culture,” “Remembering the Holocaust,” and “Space and Place.” This topics course in an advanced course designed to accompany
