MES 250 Food, Power & Culture in the Middle East

This course explores relationships between culture and power in the Middle East through an exploration of food, storytelling, custom, superstitions, and more. Stories, symbols, discussions, and experiential learning through the preparation and sharing of food will develop an appreciation for the complexities of power and culture in the region.
