MUS 116 Foundations and World Views of Music
This class targets aspiring music majors or minors, or students with an interest in music. Basic materials of music, theory, history, and stylistic differences between the Western European tradition and other cultures are the core aspects of the class. Students will learn how to explore, analyze, and critically examine music within different cultures as well as the social and civic impact of the musical arts.
