Modern Language Requirement:

NOTE: Students placed at entrance in a course numbered higher than 220 are exempt from this requirement. In all other respects, completion of this requirement follows the College’s general policies regarding the fulfillment of foreign language requirements. Student-Directed Specialization (SDS) Requirements:
4 courses chosen from a list prepared and approved by the IST faculty, across at least 3 different disciplines.
Students will work with their advisor to develop a clear and coherent rationale for the choice of these courses.
This allows maximum choice for students to create their own focused specialization. (12 credits total)
