Student Life Office

Under the direction of the Vice President and Dean of Student Life, the Student Life staff consists of the Associate Dean of Student Life, Director of Student Life and Housing, Director of Campus Activities, Director of Community Service and the Bonner Program, Director of Residence Life, Director of Greek Life & New Student Orientation, and two Directors of Public Safety.  Also, the Director of Student Health, a Physician’s Assistant, a Licensed Practical Nurse, an Administrative Assistant in Parsons Center, the Director of Counseling, two full-time Counselors, and one part-time Counselor.  The College Chaplain, the Assistant Director of Residence Life, the Coordinator for Residence Life and Housing, the Coordinator for Community Service and the Bonner Program, the Coordinator for Greek Life and Shuttle Services, and an Executive Administrative Assistant to the Vice President and Dean of Student Life.

The Residence Life staff offices are located in Nevin, the Department of Public Safety is located in the Walnut House, Student Health and Counseling offices are located in the Parsons Center in Sutcliffe Hall, and the College Chaplain is located in Crounse 452. The remainder of the Student Life Office staff is located on the second floor of the Campus Center.

The purpose and mission of the Centre College Student Life Office is to contribute to a safe, social, learning environment in which the individual will be able to foster an appropriate respect for self and others, develop responsible decision-making skills, improve relationship and coping skills, appreciate the value of community service, and enhance leadership abilities in order to take his/her place in a diverse society.
