BIO 226 Human Anatomy and Physiology-I

A study of the anatomical structure and physiological function of the human body. The course begins at the cellular level and expands up to the entire organism, following an organ systems approach. Genetic influences on the body and its function are included. Special emphasis is placed on the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, digestive, and urinary systems. A lab is included. Not open to students with credit for BIO 225.
