MAT 170 Calculus-I

An introduction to single variable calculus, including a study of trigonometric, inverse trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions.  Topics include limits, continuity, the derivative, rules of differentiation, the Mean Value Theorem, applications of the derivative, antiderivatives, Riemann sums and the definite integral, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, and the method of substitution. No longer offered, but can still receive Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate credit or transfer credit for this course.
