MAT 310 Probability Theory

A mathematical study of chance, this course uses counting techniques and topics from calculus to develop a mathematical approach that describes the probability of events happening. Specific topics include random variables, discrete and continuous distributions, expected values, variances, moments and moment-generating functions, multivariate distributions, and order statistics.
