ANT 365 Human Evolution

A study of human evolution from primate beginnings through the origins and diversification of the australopithecines, the early members of the genus Homo, the Neanderthals and other archaics, and anatomically and behaviorally modern Homo sapiens. The course emphasizes comparative anatomy of the primates and close examination of the fossil and lithic records of the human past.
