CHN 430 Advanced Chinese-III
The third segment in the Advanced Chinese series aims to help students develop advanced Chinese language skills, with an emphasis on behavioral culture and professional communication. Students will increase their reading and translation proficiency by researching social practices and work culture in different Chinese speaking regions. Students will engage in meaningful oral communications by discussing and debating social issues presented in news media and on social media platforms. They will learn how to offer informative, instructional, and/or analytical presentations. Students will conduct independent research on a topic of their choice.

CHN 320 or 340 or placement.
