MAT 262 Mathematical Modeling

Mathematical modeling is the process of describing natural or social phenomenon using the language of mathematics. Once translated to a mathematical form, the tools of mathematics can be used to study the model and gain insights into the phenomena under investigation. This course will focus on the design, analysis, accuracy, and appropriateness of a mathematical model for a particular situation. Prerequisites: MAT 165
