BIO 357 Parasitology

A study of parasites affecting human and animal health. This course will explore parasite diversity and biology, including a selection of parasites important in veterinary and medical sciences, host parasite interactions, anthelmintic treatment, resistance, and new developments in the field. This course will also include a lab that introduces students to field parasitology research methods and requires students to develop and complete their own research project. Prerequisite: BIO 110.
